Such an awesome day today! Assisted on a super-hetic, 11-hour shoot, helping out with styling, setting-up, props, coordingating products - anything and everything to keep me running around and busy all day - but it was amazing! I felt really confident and seemed to take to it like a duck to water. I was on a high for hours afterwards! Ahhh, if only I could keep this work experience job...

Whisk me off to Paris with a flower in my hair, my lips stained a devilish shade of rouge, and we can rummage through antique stalls, stifle giggles in Le Louvres and pedal our way along winding cobbled streets with my Hermès Birkin bag and your fresh baguette peeking out of the top of our bicycle baskets... And just how joli would these pink frilly dresses, leather jackets and coquettish, vintage boots look worn together?J'adore!
It’s only my third day of fashion work experience and I’m wounded.Already. After wearing ridiculous 6-inch heels yesterday, I’ve pulled a muscle in the back of my thigh and am now sporting a distinctly UN-fashionable crippled walk. Ouch, ouch, ouch! But what better way to get over the pain than to go to a land of make-believe... In the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar, the Chapman Brothers have created a bone tingling series of images, presenting Claudia Schiffer as a forties-style heroine cowering behind the forces of paranormal evil. *Cue evil cackle and blood curdling screams.MUCH happier now.Especially considering I’m not getting mauled by eerie-looking skeletons.

I am currently exhausted, fluey and cocooned in the cosiest boyfriend jumper I can find, with a hot water bottle warming my feet and a cup of hot Ribena on my bedside table (grandma!!), but I had to share this with you quickly before I drift off to sleep-land...
These beautiful images, taken from the latest edition of Lula, just stopped me in my tracks. Utterly captivating in their allure and imagination, the exquisite, dream-like atmosphere, retro sensibilities and saturated colours instantly bring back to you a time of richness, freedom and happiness. But look closer, and there’s a sense of sadness here for the young heroine – a tangible pathos in the way that she is always on the outside, or not quite there.She’s seen longing for the ice cream, pressing her hands up against the outside glass of the jewellery store, wistfully - or is that forlornly? - daydreaming upon the bough of the blossom tree…A sadness that makes these images so much more than just ‘pretty’ to look at.A depth that, perhaps, makes them even more beautiful. Or maybe I'm just reading far too much into it and my brain seriously needs to get some shut-eye!

These pictures from uber-stylish blog, Frassy (www.befrassy.com) have just made me weep inside. I had my hair cut last week after months of looking like a human birdsnest and living with, a) the constant fear that it might inadvertently strangle me while I sleep, and b) that I’ll be approached by a passing kind-hearted soul who’ll direct me to the nearest soup kitchen for a bowl of stew and a clean pair of knickers.(Not that having clean knickers is a bad thing.)But now, after looking at Frassy’s beautiful long, bed head locks, I want mine back!!My newly lopped-off tresses are all straight and blunt and simply don’t fall the same - or form mini-dreads when I haven’t brushed it for a few days.Oh, for shame. They just puff out like a big marshmallow shelf.Looks like I’ll just have to shower with Super-Grow and hope for the best.
Following my huge crush on South American street style, I think I’ve found my leading lady. Her name is Buenos Aires and she comes from Argentina. Check out this blog, it's superb!
